Die missie van SAHomeschoolers.Org is : "Bemagtig ouers om die beste onderwys vir hulle kinders te kies."

Die webwerf www.sahomeschoolers.org het lewendig gegaan in Jan. 2011 en is sedertdien gevestig as die mees omvattende onafhanklike webwerf oor tuisonderwys in Suid-Afrika. Fair Lady het in 'n artikel oor tuisonderwys die volgende opmerking gemaak :  "...so many people recommended the SA Homeschoolers website that I’ve included it in the piece as a trusted resource for people wanting more information." Die webwerf word ondersteun deur en is ge-integreer met 'n Facebook bladsy en Youtube kanaal.

SAHomeschoolers.Org bevorder sy missie deur te streef na die volgende doelwitte:

  • Om die mees vindbare en toeganklike webwerf oor alternatiewe onderwys in Suid-Afrika te wees.
  • Om die beginpunt te wees vir ouers wat tuisonderwys oorweeg.
  • Om 'n veilige platform te verskaf waar ouers in verbinding kan tree met ondersteuningsgroepe, gespreksforums en leersentrums.
  • Om by te dra tot 'n ingeligte beweging en positiewe publieke mening oor alternatiewe onderwys.
  • Om 'n kanaal te verskaf waardeur verskaffers van opvoedkundige produkte en dienste die mark kan bereik van ouers wat gekies het vir tuisonderwys.

SAHomeschoolers.Org werk met vennote om alternatiewe onderwys verder te bevorder deur ekspo's en 'n e-Tydskrif.

The purpose of SA Homeschoolers is : "Empowering parents to choose the best education for their children."

The website www.sahomeschoolers.org website went live in Jan. 2011 and has since then been established as the most comprehensive independent website on homeschooling in South Africa. Fair Lady wrote in an article on homeschooling : "...so many people recommended the SA Homeschoolers website that I’ve included it in the piece as a trusted resource for people wanting more information." The website is supported by and integrated with a Facebook Page and a Youtube channel.

SA Homeschoolers promotes it's purpose through the following mission :

  • Be the most findable and accessible website on alternative education in South Africa.
  • Be the starting point for parents that consider alternative education.
  • Provide a safe platform for parents to get into contact with support groups, discussion forums and learning centres.
  • Contribute to the creation of an informed movement and positive public opinion on home education through blog articles and sharing posts on it's Facebook Page.
  • Provide a channel through which the suppliers of educational products and services can reach the market of parents that have decided to choose home education.

 SAHomeschoolers works with partners to promote alternative education further by organising expo's and publishing an e-Magazine.

The vision of SA Homeschoolers is an environment where parents experience it as effortless to change to alternative forms of education that promote the best interests of their children.
