You are invited to join us for a week filled with plenty of horse riding, farm activities and social interaction. The days are broken up into different activities, weather permitting starting with morning chores of feeding the various animals & fetching the horses, outride in the veldt or lessons in the arena, Kleilat-gooi, target shooting, woodwork, obstacle course and various other games and activities which make the week fun and adventurous! Evenings we have praise and worship, our Mooikrans equestrian course and games like “lantern bekruip” or “grenswag”, star watching, camp concert and the all time favorite “camp sokkie” where we do barn-type line dancing and EVERYONE has great fun!

This camp happening from 3-9 September is different, because its also a LEADERSHIP camp where Aunty Elna and her team, identify and develop leadership skills during the week.

Some may not know, that I am a home school mom to 3 beautiful daughters – and between the children they have attended more than 12 camps. My children have been going from the age of 9 and they will be 13, 20 and 22 this year. As often as I am able, I try and stay at the camp, for the week – I’m hoping to be able to do so for the upcoming camp too. I can assure you though, that the children are well cared for and once they have tasted “Mooikrans” that it’s almost a case of “once a camper – always a camper”.

Who is welcome? : Children between 9 or 10 and 17 years old depending on their emotional maturity.
Where is Mooikrans? : Between Amersfoort and Morgenzon.
Camp fee? : R2 500 per person per camp. Excludes course fee, Tuck-shop money and USB. These are optional extra’s.
